"Beginning of the new growth"

  In order to carry out broad discussions from a global perspective on important policy issues the Economic and Social Research Institute (ESRI) has continuously held international forums since 2001, with the cooperation of institutes such as NBER (National Bureau of Economic Research) in the US. This time, taking into account the topics we have discussed so far, as well as recent economic trends, we will hold a forum titled, "Beginning of New Growth". Experts with extensive academic experience will be invited from the US to engage in lively discussions with Japanese intellectuals on policy issues for sustaining economic recovery and on the picture of the future financial system.
