本論文は、スウェーデンのマイクロシミュレーション・モデル“SESIM”による政策分析への応用を図ったものである。これまでSESIMによる政策分析では、学生に対する奨学金・貸付金にはじまり、公共部門を通じての再分配、とくに人口高齢化の結果生じる状況の研究が進められてきている。
本論文では、“SESIM”の構造と特性について述べ、このモデルが、種々の政策の評価にどのように用いることができるかを示す。
